1. Who we are
OneMix Mastering is operated by Sander van der Waal, a sole trader (autónomo) based in Alicante, Spain (the "data controller" under GDPR). For any privacy question or request, contact sander@onemixmastering.com.
2. What we collect
We only collect what's needed to respond to your enquiry or deliver a mastering project:
| Where | What's collected | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Quote form | Track/artist name, genre, BPM, reference link, service selection, notes, email, optional phone | To calculate and email you a quote, and follow up about the project |
| Contact form | Name, email, subject, message | To respond to your message |
| Client account (when wired to a real backend) | Email, display name, uploaded audio files, project/revision history | To deliver and manage your mastering project |
3. How we use it
Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver mastering services, and communicate with you about a project you've booked. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of taking steps to enter into a contract with you (when you request a quote or book a project), performance of that contract (once booked), and our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries sent through the contact form.
5. Who else sees it
We use a small number of third-party services to run the site, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:
- EmailJS — delivers quote and contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Supabase — will host client accounts, project data, and uploaded audio files once the client portal is fully connected (not yet live).
- Strato — our web hosting provider, serving the website itself.
We don't share your information with anyone beyond what's needed to run these services.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site does not currently use cookies, analytics, or any advertising trackers. If that changes in future (for example, adding analytics to understand site traffic), this policy will be updated first and a cookie consent option will be added.
7. How long we keep it
Quote and contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where a project goes ahead, for the duration of that project plus a reasonable period afterward for revisions and any legal/tax record-keeping obligations. Source audio files are typically retained for a limited period after delivery (currently planned at 90 days) and then deleted.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email sander@onemixmastering.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We don't store payment card details ourselves — any future payment processing will be handled by a dedicated, PCI-compliant payment provider rather than passing through our own systems.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site's functionality changes (for example, once real client accounts and file storage go live). The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
